Moving forward

We sometimes choose to hang onto things in our life that are not helping us at all—the things that at some point have hurt us, angered us, made us feel sad, or depressed us.

Its funny how we so intending on not letting go of the bad memories and those discomforts in our past is be on my comprehension, what I can say is, holding on to misery is very bad for your health, and is hindering your forward movement.

When we choose to hang on to a bad situation, we never move forward, and we even create physical or medical damage to our bodies. To prevent this from happening, we need to let go.

We really don’t know the extent of the damage that could cause from trying to keep what not good for your well been, it could reach where it can cause serious health problem for you body. The body functions are very delicate and work according to the feeling that is generated from how the mind thinks.

We go through different experiences in our lives, some are positive, and some we see as negative and unpleasant. When we hang on to a negative or unpleasant experience, we are constantly thinking about it. And when we constantly think about that negative event we prevent our selves from healing.

How many pleasant memories do you recall everyday? Chances are, like most people, you have a number of unpleasant experiences that you holding on to, which are preventing you from moving forward.

The more we carry the past the worse life gets. Why? Because we filled our mind up with negative experiences, because we continually hang on to something that doesn’t allow us to move forward, in short, we carry useless baggage that’s really slowing us down.

How would you like to let go of all those useless baggage, past bad relationships, and negative thoughts that hold you back or prevent you from achieving success in your life?

I know, you properly saying, sure it's easy to say: "Just let go - move forward - forget about it - just let go." Let's face it - that's easier said than done.

Okay, think about this; you're on a camping trip and have to walk a long distance through the mountains. Every so often you keep picking up some form of heavy objects, things that really don't serve your purpose, but you like them and want to hang on to them.

After a while these objects begin to get heavier and heavier on you, they slowing you
down and unless you get rid of them you’ll never get to your campsite. So, if you intend to reach you destination, you have to get rid of the unwanted objects.

The way that you do this is by simply getting your mind to focus on something different. It's not about saying I let go of the bad memories and move on. Although that will help but if you really want to start moving on then you have to get your mind to focus on new things, then you’ll automatically let go of the negative events and situations that have been slowing you down.

It’s like giving your mind new instruction to follow, focusing on what you want to happen not what happened already, focus on different things, in the process you will automatically let go of the things that have been slowing you down. At the same time you stop producing the negative energy that you created from the negative situations which only attracts more negativity. When you start focusing on the positive things in you life, and focus on what you want you out of your life, begin moving that energy and start attracting positive situations to help you create the life you desire.

This is a simple process that gets the mind moving in a new direction, and you stop building negative energy created from the negative events/emotions, which only attracts more negative situations. When you begin focusing on more positive things, you begin attracting positive situations. Where do I want to go now, and how do I plan to get there? Then you want to create a plan.
