SHRED THE HEAVY LOAD

For you to be able to move on towards your purpose, you must also know how to put aside those things that aren’t working for you. You have to keep on looking at your life to determine what is right in your life and what has to be shredded. God created you for a purpose, greatness is destined for your life. When making decisions, ask your self, how does the choice I am about to make affect the overall outcome of my purpose. I have seen many people who were faced with this question, but neglected to ask them self, and those who did ask did not take heed to the answer. As a result, the people they associate them self with, dragged them down and hold them back from reaching the height point of their success. By not shredding the heavy load, you place your self in the category of causing hindrance instead of helping. This causes you to wreak ministry and cause damage to your life’s goal. In the end, there were lift with sadness and bitterness in their old age, when they could have been en...

Diary of a Widow

As I mediate on the past event of what occurred in my life, I wonder if there was not a God could I have survived this devastation. So many times I wanted to give up and just say enough is enough I don’t need all this stress and pain in my life. But because of love, giving up always seems too vanished in thin air. What I am trying to say is, because I know that God love me, and He won’t leave me to handle this all alone, I gain strength to hold on, and then I loved my family too much not to be there for them. But it was not easy. For years my schedule was like this. I would come home from a grave yard shift working at the Miccosukee Indian Casino and then attend to my wife. Take my boys to school. Go out back to my second job, come back home in the evening and attend to me wife, while preparing meals for the boys, then try to get a little rest before going back to my night job. Next day doing it all over again. Keep in mind between all this, there was many hospitals and doctor...

BUILDING THE FOUNDATION FOR LIFE

Building life is just like structuring a building. You want to build it so it could withstand from generation to generation. When you are dead on gone, your building (life) should still be function and operating as normal. This is why the scripture says that you should never consume all inheritance; leave some for you children’s children, meaning your grand children. Proverbs 17:6, Grandchildren are the crowning glory of the aged; parents are the pride of their children. (NLT) The grand children are the one who should gain the most of what you do in life. If you look at life in a long term sense, you could never go wrong. Here is an explanation: Your grand children are you children’s children. You are the grandchild of your mother’s parent. Your mother is the grand child of her parent’s parent. In others, every person mention in this statement is a grand child, and will receive the crowning glory. The object is to think towards the future and build on it. Here is an example: Acc...

When trouble occurs unexpectedly, how do I handle it?

Let’s simplify this. What you think about the most will eventually be the dominant force in your thinking capability. This will be the result of which direction you are going to take, or whether you will accept the situation and move forward with your life. As we know, the children can make you lose your cool sometimes. Your spouse shakes you nerves one in a while. You job frustrates you a day or two, and so on and so on. But the question is how do you handle it? 1: Choose something that makes you smile and makes you happy--then think about it on a daily basis. By thinking about it, it will program into you thinking capability, which will transform into you action, as a result you attitude towards that situation will change. 2: Realize that you are not the only one with unfortunate situations and circumstances, so don’t be so hard on yourself. In most cases, your situation may be small compared to others. Everyone has some kind of challenge i...

Help for the Bereaved family

Image
I believe it will help you to know that moving forward when an unfortunate station happens is a process; in fact, it’s a long journey of acceptance and healing, and there is not a specific time period. But I know you can get through it, and return back to a happy and productive life. I know it is hard for you to believe what I am saying right now, but you must hold onto hope, keep the faith. Keep reminding yourself that things will eventually get better. You are not alone in this process of moving forward. I know you probably feel quite overwhelmed and bewildered right now, when I lost my wife about five years ago, I went through this same thing, like you were picked up and placed on a different planet, way out into space, I know. You in a new world of uncharted territory with no road-map, to help you along the way, here are a few scriptures. "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfo...
