LIFE IS COMMITING TO SOMTHING

So many people run away from the word commitment. I often wonder what makes this word seem so dangerous to some people. If they only knew how important and valuable this word is when you commit to the right thing or person, more and more people would choose to make a commitment. In the words of Marcus Tullius Cicero (c. 106 ~ 43 BC) “What one has, one ought to use: and whatever he does, he should do it with all his might.” So the question is: Are you using your gifts and talents, and all of your God-given resources with all of your might? It is going to take this and more to withstand true commitment. Let’s look at this. Building life is just like structuring a building. You want to build it so it can stand from generation to generation, functioning and operating as normal. You want to build it so that when the wind and the rain come, it will never move from its position. For far too long, we have been given a picture of quick and fast, in and out, with no expectation of a solid

WORKING OF THE MIND

According to science, the mind records data using mental image pictures. Such pictures are actually three-dimensional and contain color, sound, and smell, as well as other perceptions. They also include the conclusions or speculations of the individual. Mental image pictures are continuously made by the mind—moment by moment. This is a prime example that, even in the realm of science, the mind is the central part of the body and contains the information needed for life. This is why is so important to regulate and control your mind. For example, Jesus Christ is symbolically the mind, or leader, of the church. Those who follow him are the body. Therefore, Christians’ entire lives should exemplify him and take direction from him, because the mind is what leads the body. Wherever the mind goes, the body has no choice but to follow. You want to first program your mind before you make an attempt to do anything. If you have to pray, then pray. If you have to repeat yourself until it program

What love have to do with it

As I went to my Pastor appreciation on the first of a four days event, celebrating and honoring someone for the things they do to help others is a good thing. There was singing, dancing, worshiping and praising to God for the honoree, a great woman in the name of Pastor Angela Giles. It was time for the main part of the event, the word of God. The word coming from Pastor Kevin Williams said, would you still love me the same way when I get on your last nerve by telling you the truth? When we have a disagreement, would you still love me? When I tell you right from wrong would you still love me? In other words, would you love me tomorrow the same way you love me today after I have corrected you. Corrections come to help and build up, and not to separated and move backwards. Embrace correction and accept the right words when it comes to help you. Criticism could be a blessing if you accept it for what it is and use it as a stepping stone to build on. Above all, love each other deeply

WHAT'S ON THE MENU

Have you ever found yourself saying, “If I could only find a solution to deal with these symptoms from the infirmity in my body, I would have a better chance of fulfilling my heart’s desire”? Have you ever felt that a situation was so deep and hard to get past that it seemed as if your life had stopped right that very moment? Ever felt like all inspiration and hope was lost? In such a time as this, where the mind, body, and soul are affected by the countless attacks by the fiery dots from the enemy, only one such program could dissolve and cancel the enemy’s plans—The Menu. http://amzn.to/cZLEO0 Why attempt to perform an impossible task with mere shallow power, and yield little or no results. The time has come to tap into the power source that cannot fail. Most people deal with their problems by relying on other sources for help and support. While other people may be critical and necessary to make it through certain situations, when it comes to your healing, the main thing is f
