MOVING FORWARD AND NOT BACKWARD

The past is exactly what it is, the past. Its funny how, when we are driving on the freeway and we observe an accident on the said of the road, how the traffic seems to slow down, while the accident is already off the roadway. We past the accident, and yet we still looking in our rear view mirror at the accident. Why you may ask? We tent to want to focus on the past instead of what’s in from of us. You can’t look back and looking ahead at the same time. It must be one or the other, if you are looking back, it will hinder the decision to make a quality decision toward your future. Just like the driver of the freeway, if his/her head is turn to the back or fix on the rear view mirror, there is a great chance of causing an accident, when all you had to do was leave the past behind and concentrate on what’s ahead. The past is only there to remind us how to make things better in the future. How to avoid making the same mistakes again or how to duplicate and make better what was done...

The Road to Leadership: Are these 3 things in you

Leadership requires wisdom. In all the knowledge that you may acquire, if you lack the wisdom how to carefully us it, then it will serve you no purpose.   1: Get wisdom   “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God,   who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you” James 1:5 (NIV)   Leadership requires self examination.  To be a good leader you first must have confidence in you. For example, you must see and walk in the good in you. If you don’t know the good in you, how can you teach what you don’t know, thus you will transfer what’s not good about you.   2: Live by the Spirit “Since we live by the Spirit,   let us keep in step with the Spirit.   Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other” Galatians 5:22 (NIV) To be a good leader you must have self control. You will ultimately face opposition to whatever you teach. How you handle those who oppose to your teaching wil...

A NOTE FOR FATHERS: REMEMBERING YOUR DUTY

It all started with pleasure, you and her in enjoyment, red roses and candle light dinners, not thinking about the after shock.
