The Road to Leadership: Are these 3 things in you
Leadership requires wisdom. In all the knowledge that you
may acquire, if you lack the wisdom how to carefully us it, then it will serve
you no purpose.
1: Get wisdom
“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without
finding fault, and it will be given to you” James 1:5 (NIV)
Leadership requires self examination. To be a good leader you first must have
confidence in you. For example, you must see and walk in the good in you. If
you don’t know the good in you, how can you teach what you don’t know, thus you
will transfer what’s not good about you.
2: Live by the Spirit
“Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the
Spirit. Let
us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other” Galatians 5:22 (NIV)
To be a good leader you must have self control. You will
ultimately face opposition to whatever you teach. How you handle those who
oppose to your teaching will tell what kind of a leader you will be. You must
maintain your composer even when you are challenge and put to the test about
what you know.
3: Self control Life is What You Make It
“Like a city
whose walls are broken through is a person who lacks self-control” Proverbs 25:28 (NIV)
